The Yearsley Family Weekend of Fun

Last weekend (August 15th - 17th) our family got together to have a day in the sun and on the golf course. We started out by renting sea doos and traveling up to Island Park. We spent the whole day playing in the water and getting sun burnt. Me and James both loved getting pulled on a tube but we also loved to just ride the sea doos and go as fast as we could.

The next day we all participated in the 2008 Yearsley golf classic. It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun. Of course Lacey and Tony were the champions but I think we had more fun. No hard feelings they really are better than us and we have a whole year to practice up until the next play off.

We topped the whole weekend off with dutch oven dinner and songs by the campfire. Dad gave his usual speech and mom was able to accompany us with any song we named. She is very talented and we are lucky to have her.

The best part of the whole weekend was spending time with each other since we hadn't all been together since Christmas! I hope we don't have to wait that long for next time. We enjoyed being able to talk with each other and laughing all weekend long. It was great!!!!!
