Miss Penelope turned 5 years old this year. She is really growing up so fast. It is hard to believe she has been with us for five years already. Penny loves having her picture taken and let's face it she just looks so darn cute in her pictures. :)
This year we did a Frozen theme for her birthday. She loves everything Anna and Elsa. She sings along to all the songs and watches the movies over and over and over. She even chose an Elsa backpack for school. Once she saw it, that was it. She just had to have that one :)
We decorated the living room to be a frozen winter wonderland. She was so excited when she walked downstairs and saw everything! We watched a little of the show before she left for therapy and finished it when she got home.
I decorated a cake for her and made the inside swirled colors. It turned out pretty good. I was happy with it and of course she was too!
That afternoon we made and decorated crowns and antlers. The kids had a lot of fun with this activity. We had sequence all over for quite a while.
We opened presents when dad got home and of course she got more Frozen stuff. Anna and Elsa dolls and Frozen dress. She loves wearing that dress all the time. She got a music player with the songs on it and knows all the words to sing along in the microphone. In fact all the kids know the words and we often have a big sing along!!!
Penny is a very smart girls. She knows her alphabet letters and sounds and can count to 10. She is very excited to start school and ride the bus. Her words are improving everyday and she is a very happy little girl. She loves being a big sister and helping out her brothers. Especially Vinny. Whenever she gets a treat from the kitchen she will bring one for her brothers too. It is very sweet. I love her so much and I am so happy to have her in my life!!!
