Shower....

I have such a great family. My mom and my sister Lacey threw me the greatest shower for Penelope last weekend. They are so nice and good to us. It was perfect. We had a light lunch and a few games. It wasn't too long but we were all able to chat and enjoy ourselves. Thanks so much for all that you did ladies! I had so much fun and Penny got a lot of really nice things. She will definitely get use out of all of them. My Aunt Cherie from California was even able to make it up. It was great to see her, it has been a few years and we really enjoyed the time we got to be with her. Plus it was the first time Lacey and her family got to meet miss Penelope. Tylin sure loved her and constantly wanted to hold her. Penny even got to sit on her first horse! It was a nice weekend. We stayed up way too late playing games and talking, and of course the kids got up early so we were all sleep deprived but loving every minute of it. I love my family so much and am so thankful to have them living close by. It is nice to have them as an active part of our lives. We love and appreciate their support, especially everything that has been going on with Penny. It sure is nice to have them to talk to and get advice from.
Now we are laying low in Boise until the surgery date. We aren't taking Penny out of the house much. We want her to stay healthy and happy. So we are now just focusing on family time and being together.
