Sometimes life happens and we get busy, sidetracked, or just plain forgetful. Whatever the case was this month I have been off my game. I missed the opportunity to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day (March21). I wish this wasn't the case, because I want to cherish every opportunity I have to celebrate my darling Miss Penelope and all that she is, down syndrome included.
I needed to take the time today to write and let all of you know that I do celebrate her and I am happy to have her sweet love and presence in our home. Please take a moment to celebrate with me, if only in your heart, and enjoy what life has to offer us.
